It's our turn on Sunday, please keep fingers crossed that the weather is dry. We have had some terrible weather in the past so now we make sure there is lots of cover, just in case!
We will have lots of tomatoes and chillies and others which are still being brought in.
Shirl and her team will be running the bric-a-brac and she will also have some of her lovely glass paintings for sale. Both of these stalls are in aid of the Felix Fund.
The Cream Teas will be in aid of Sports Relief this year.
Jenny will be selling her famous jams and preserves in aid of Cats Protection.
The Stores will be open too.
We open at 12 and there is plenty of parking on site.
Hope to see some of you on the day. :)
Well the brica brac is all sorted now. Its a labour of love. Just hope the sun shines on Sunday
I wish i lived closer to be able to get some tomato plants from you, shame you don't do mail order as i am pretty sure the quality of your goods will be very good,i hope the weather stays nice for you all,all the best.
Are you not giving Scarecrow making "Master Classes" then... ;D
It's been such a beautiful day here today, just hope it lasts till tomorrow afternoon. We put all the tables out today but we are not risking the gazebos till tomorrow morning.
Just hope we get some customers. And that it doesn't rain of course.
We had better get some customers. I have made 28 bread puddings ;D
Good luck!! will think of you but the Queen has asked me to pop over to Sandringham tommorrow and was most insistant.
Ohhh - bread pudding !!! I love that!
Would love to come again but sadly working nights this weekend..... :-\
Good luck with your day, hope the weathers kind :)
Hope your weather is like ours, squash. Second weekend here and going really well. Hope you all have a great day ;D
Hope you do realy well... :)
Good luck today, hope the suns out there.
Sorry I can't get there maybe next year.
June.
Thanks for all your good wishes - they worked!
It was a bit windy but the sun shone for most of the time and it didn't rain. In total we took over £850, some for Sports Relief, Macmillan and Air Ambulance and the rest for us. (our only fund-raiser for ourselves)
I priced tomatoes at £1 each or 3 for £2.50 and chillies at £1. Courgettes £1 and West Indian cucumbers (a bit on the small side) at 50p.
All the Bangladeshi toms went but only about half of the Gardeners Delight. People said they wanted the more unusual varieties so we know what to do for
next year. Minibel all sold well too.
We had lots of help, some new people helped for the first time which was good. I'll put some photos up when I've sorted them.
WELL DONE to ALL of you,I'm sure you met some lovely people as well, its much nicer when it doesn't rain.
Tone sold all 28 bread puddings and lots of glass paintings while myself and my mate Pauline got going with the bric a brac. The hardest part is putting it all away again. Give us another few years and we will have it sorted.Good day in all. The cats will be well cared for.
Tomorrow is Freddie an Georges coming out day so will get some pics. Good organisation is the key. Thanks to ower Betty
Well done from me too, pleased that the sun came out for you, and it wasn't a complete wet, washout.

No Kev but I did sell rides in my micra round the site. I had a massive queue of people wanting to experience motoring at its best. You should have come.
It clashed with the last game of the season, sorry footie comes first. ;D
I thought the ginger twins were kittens. ::)
