how can I get rid if the colombine in my allotment,it is most prolific in the soft fruit patch

we'll soon have the sun on our backs.....

Do you mean Colombine as in Aquilegia AKA. Grannys Bonnets? If so its a case of preventing seeding, dig up the present plants and hoe off any new ones that sprout, a good layer of mulch should stop them coming back

or do you mean bindweed in which dig out asw much of the roots as you can, the keep the hoe goin!

Yes, if it's Bindweed - worry it to death!

Might be worth trying Glyphosate on the leaves, could require a couple of doses, usually works!
