I came back from dropping my daughter at work this morning to find my very sturdy, large plastic greenhouse, (2m x 1.8m) which I'd only put up 2 days ago, strewn across the garden. :'( :'(
The strong wind has just picked it up and rolled it about 10 metres. Luckily the metal poles and cover are intact, but many of the plastic joints the poles fit into are broken. I've spent ages looking on ebay for replacements, but can't find anything similar. I deliberately didn't put wights on the bottom poles to hold it down - my neighbour did that, and his has been totally ruined in todays' wind.
Can anybody suggest a solution please - I've plenty of plants just about ready to go into it.
Many thanks.
Are you still able to use the plastic joints and maybe ducktape them to keep them together for now?
How about drilling right size holes for blocks of wood?..like a rough version of the joints..
Try'two wests and elliot' they have connectors for tubes not sure about the diameter
I have some joints for a plastic greenhouse, what is the diameter of the poles, and what joints are you looking for
I just replaced my greenhouse that was constructed out of tubes and connectors with a plastic sheet cover.
I am planning to use most of the tubes and connectors to make some staging for my new greenhouse, but have some spare parts!
Could you post pictures of the bits you need and I can check theyre the same?
James
