^^ Had to find my reading glasses but on the back of the packet at the bottom it says "Type: Extra Sweet".

Not sure if that is the variety though or just wishful thinking about what might be produced.

Awaiting peas.

I applied both personally (via the frozen veg pack promotion) and professionally, (as an infant school teacher, through their 'pea-seeds for kids' scheme). I have been overwhelmed by the number of packs they sent to our school. I asked for enough for the two Y1 classes who have done a 'local area improvement/growing stuff' project, but they have sent me more than enough for the whole school to have a pack each. My next school assembly is now planned, 'Healthy Eating/Knowing how food is produced'. It should have a good deal of impact on our city-kids, who will all be taking home seeds to grow and be able to enter the growing competition too. Hurrah for Birds-Eye!
