Quick plug for our allotment association's plant sale taking place next week. 11am-5pm
A fantastic range of bedding plants, vegetables, herbs, herbaceous/perennials, fruit and of course loads of tomatoes all grown by our allotment growers. There will be some heritage toms and others suitable for containers and outdoor planting as well.
I will be around probably on the tomato stall, would love to meet anyone who wants to come and say hello!
Please see our website below for details and directions on how to find us. Last year we had to open the gates a bit early as there was such a queue! Free admission. (Please note, the allotment site itself is not open to look around and there is no tea tent or samosas (sob!) for this event, but we will be having our full blown Open Day under the NGS scheme in September).

Beautifil day here, today, just cold. Hope yours is warmer :)
Fingers crossed! ;D
Wishing you the very best for tomorrow.
Sorry cannot come I'm already off on a garden visit- hope goes well :)
Well it's a bright and sunny start to the day, we are all set to go, let's hope we get a good turn out! I will report back later tonight! 8) ;D
We were lucky with the weather, it was mostly sunny all day. We had very good trade in the morning, it seemed to slack off bit in the afternoon but hopefully we have done well overall. I was on the tomato stand, best sellers were the Maskotka bush tomatoes and the minibel and tumbling toms for containers. Last year I was constantly asked for cherry tomatoes so grew a load of them for this year....and was asked for plum and beefsteak toms this year! ::) You can't win eh... ;D
There were some outstanding cakes in the tea room, Cam and I couldn't stop grazing on them! ;D
