Oh Doris did not think have a lottie ment a course in mountain climbing.
Thats a job and a half cannot wait to see it full of plants and you a size 8.
I am soooo gratefull mine is flat. where did the crockery come from? the ground? oh well get some concrete and make a master piece.
Gosh Doris that's an ALLOTMENT?!
thoght it couldnt possibly be - a garden maybe. Good luck to you. And well done for what youve got done.
Pity i dont live near to you, i could come and help with the next bit. Love clearing overgrown sites, so satisfying.
I have heard the one of preferring custard on my rhubarb but not a case of growing directly on to the crockery ;D ;D
That takes the biscuit!!!
oops! thinking of food again...........must be tea time ;)
Thanks you lot! The crockery may become pathways as per Eric's idea!! The main part of my lottie that I have been working for a few years now is flat.I just had to ask who the brambles belonged to didn't I !! So step terrace gardening for me ;D
Teresa, i think that the previous tenant hated his wifes crockery and piece by piece took it up his lottie n smashed it!! i am now a dab hand with a grappling hook!! Size 8, cor that would be nice!!! (might post a real piccie of me then! ;D thinking of facing the wood with some lovely mosaics! That would make em all talk on the site ;D ;D ;D
Richard, wish you did live nearby, then you could have a go with my swap and hooker!! ;)(How many of you were given a hooker for Christmas!)
Gardener....tried making tea in the crockery but it all fell through! Found a suede glove,an old rake, a jam jar and part of a chair today ;D Oh and about 5 plastic bags >:(
5 Gold Rings ,4 Calling birds 3 French hens and loads of crockeryyyyyyyy. It's a credit to you Doris.Well done.
Don't you get a sense of achievement when you look at the photos and see what you have done? Looks great. Now for the prize-winning veg.
-yes, DO, DO keep before and after pics - with garden, house, or even children - it's so worthwhile. = Tim
Wow Doris. Excellent! You certainly don't mind hard work huh! So, I figure growing up on terraces like that, faster drained soil and warmer soil. What are your planting plans?
.....and don't forget........easier picking weeds uphill, don't have to bend so far.
Fantastic job. Congratulations! -ina
Nice one Doris, looks quite similar to mine so gives me faith that I will eventually get there...
Don't have a digi cam but did take some old fashioned photos today so when me films finished I'll post them and you can gloat that you've got past the jungle stage I'm at into lovely working allotment land...
congratulations!
