Title: Car boots?
Post by: Multiveg on February 21, 2005, 12:54:05
With the oversowing (just in case scenario) of various vegetable seeds, do you think it would be worth trying to flog the spares at car boot sales, and for how much? Could put toms in a 3inch pot, etc...

Mia, we usually spot them at the car boot sale at Mona.  (Dont know if that is where you are planning)  They usually go for around 50p for tomatoe plants.. dont spot much else there but then I dont go every week.

Yes Mary - Mona was where I was thinking of going - although they are on almost all year round (break for Christmas), will wait until April/May and sort out some toys & books to flog as well. Can try the tomatoes and chillis, but will have brassicas as well - better get some more cheap 3" pots then.
