Title: mullard valve testers

i have found a old mullard valve tester at the back of the lottie shed.it's got around 10000 cards with it aswell.does anyone on here know anything about them or what they are worth????or shall i just skip it

Lucky you, that is the sort of thing I would love to find in the back of my shed, I'd love poking around inside one.


Checking on ebay is the best way to go for valuation, one in poor condition went for £77 and and others go for more, so I would not chuck it.

Don't put them all on at once though, otherwise the price will plummet.

I have to point out that they might be LISTED at £5.99 each, but that doesn't mean that they'll SELL for £5.99 each  ;)  Don't use eBay as a price guide, unless you actually see the item sell for that amount.  :)

Is this the "High Speed" E7600 tester?  It's a nice item, if it's working.  Are the cards in a long metal tray?

If you're ever wanting to sell it, feel free to let me know.  I've got two boxes full of valves that I need to test, and would love one for my workbench, anyway!  Do you know whether it's in working order?
