Did you go to the plot to water.  ;D ;D  We got it today, and I got wet on the way back from the shops, but when I went to the allotment later, the sun was shining, picked some flowers, rhurbard, and spinach and got very muddy boots. We have a water shortage, but in the paper we now have a flood warning, not sure where.

Brother said they had hailstones in Wisbech, 8 miles away from me but all we had was a few spots of rain.

We went down to water seedings in greenhouse and potter around, it was sunny half hour before the hail.  Only 10mins away back at home my daughter said they only had little hailstone for about 2mins, there was 20mins worth down the allotment.

Lucky it wasn't a bit later in the year too.... I lost a quarter of my squash plants to hail once on the plot in Oxford..... Looks like you had a thorough icing though, eek!...
