I just couldn't not to show you this..with a little sample for what it does..
How interesting !! Now you will be a professional.
I got so excited over this tool now, that I can hardly wait till next spring when I'm going to put it in good use ;D
Although I've had good success with crafting with just a cuttings knife,,,but its nice to have proper tool for it.. ;)
A slight sidestep about grafting.
Unable to find / locate grafting tape I have used electrical insulation tape. I'de like to remove it A.S.A.P. Anyone out there care to have a guess when I can unwind ? ? ? ??? Cheers, Tony.
If you've only just done the craft..I would wait for a month at least. Newly bonded craft union breaks apart very easily and it is better to have the craft getting bit 'squeezed' and 'sweatty' underneath than risking damaging it by removing the tape too early. If you break the craft now the top won't take anymore and any new green growth will just collapse and die. Been there, done that.. ::)
Even electrical tape is not ideal..once you do remove it and if the bark has 'suffered' a bit..it will soon heal and look perfect again..
