Title: Old posts
Post by: Borlotti on April 04, 2012, 12:46:10
Was just reading through my old posts last night to see how long the terrible twins have been around, and it was interesting to see all the problems and worries, sort themselves out in time, and things that seemed important at the time have faded away. Think it helped a lot to talk about them on here. Son that got divorced has met a new partner and seems to be coping OK, apart from lack of money.  Will have had the allotment for 9 years in June, the time has flown.  Thanks to everyone for your support and some of the things like headlice and cat fleas seemed dreadful at the time but can laugh about it now (they have gone).

So true. I am into my 5th year with the lotty!! That's a lot of beans/tomatoes/spuds/onions grown and eaten! It still drives my hubby mad but he's getting used to it (for once this year he hasn't complained about the 60 odd tiny pot plants cluttering up the dining room).

funny how many things change in a few years. My dear cousin who lost a baby at birth is now a mum again to a very happy baby boy, other friends are divorced, or married, or moved away, we lost a wonderful old cat and gained a marvellous new one, kids grow taller and change schools.
It does help to talk about it, doesn't it?

Im in my 5th year too, though I did take time out for emotional reasons.

Yes its a great forum to vent, laugh, ask and give answers and its great to be back.....and growing again. I took a break from that too  :)
