Can anyone offer some notes on the growing height and planting distance of the following beans varieties
Bonne bouche -
Major Cooke -
Succotash -
Maderia Mareon -
Maupie -
Trail of Tears -
Swedish one pot -
I can't wait to see these grow :)
Thanks again to the 2011 seed swap growers that donated them

Hi DT... does it not say on the packets??
Most of those should be on here, https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=1JAfM3N2eHtuR4QnwknmZl7r6TComh2OLoL8Odb2o2m8
Succotash is quite leafy and likes to grow quite tall.
Maderia Maroon are climbers also.
Magpie and Swedish one pot are bush beans. Plant them about 10" apart.
Trail of tears is a climber... :)
Major Cooke is a climber as well. I start half a dozen seed in a three-inch pot, then grow them up wigwams.
Thanks everyone

@ Gavin: the seeds are self saved by other growers
@Jayb: Thanks for the link
Major cooke are huge at least 8 ft canes. They have big leaves too so tend to blow over easily. Trail of tears much smaller.
Both of them grew to around the same size for me last year. They were comfortable on 8-foot poles; I wouldn't grow either on anything shorter.
My trail of tear must have slightly different genes I grow them up sweet corn. Mine originally came from Real Seeds, I think I will try and source some HSL ones.
