Title: Rose help?

Lots of lovely new shoots coming through but on a few of the rose bushes black marks and what look like scorch marks? Any advice welcome....

Cotswoldlass I'm brewing some garlic wash, Goodlife told me about it. ATM I have 6 heads of garlic in a bucket with water. After 2 weeks it can be used diluted so you just get a slight whiff of garlic. I'll leave it soaking longer until it honks ;D, strain it, bottle it & store it somewhere cool. Use it as a fungicide & pesticide.

I looked at the Garlic Wonder web site & they also do a Rabitoff which apart from the obvious is also supposed to ward off pigeons, deer & cattle. I did speak to some organic growers & asked how they grew carrots & was told they use garlic spray. That was Riverford Organics.
