Thought this was worth supporting, you never know when you might need their help!
May I bring to your attention a petition to encourage the Government to exempt Air Ambulance services from duty on the fuel they use, in the same way as the Lifeboats (RNLI) are exempt.
If we gain 100,000 signatures, Parliament is duty bound to debate the issue - currently we have over 28,000 signatures.
Thank you for your support for this magnificent volunteer funded service.

I was a bit confused by your post, as I thought that aircraft and boats did not pay fuel duty, only those that use the road have to pay fuel duty.
Looking at the petition, it is the VAT on the fuel.
Anyway, still a good idea so I have signed.
