Did you go? Nice place - an oasis in the middle of a busy city. Will have to find out the history of itbut suspect that it had been gifted to the University and can't be sold or built on. Lovely rhodi in full bloom.
It's got quite a history; I'm not sure of the details but apparently it was squatted in at one point to prevent development. It's not part of the University, it's independent and relies on donations.
