Title: Crocus's
Post by: eileen on February 17, 2005, 13:49:14
Here are a couple of pics of our village, taken this morning.

When our local shopkeeper died all we residents planted a pack of crocus bulbs in his memory. Now his widow smiles every time she sees them.

The second photograph shows her house on the right hand side and if you look carefully you'll see our cottage too - the one with the cream around the windows.

A fitting memorial to a lovely man don't you think?

How lovely!
I am dedicating a piece of my allotment to some loved ones and it will be my memory garden, a very peaceful and beautiful place to relax and sit with your thoughts.

Beautiful photos Eileen and a lovely memorial :)

I have a Camelia in my garden in memory of my Mum.  Have taken a photo to enter in the February competition.
