We have had our plot for about three weeks and I have spent about 12 full days up there so far.
I have been digging the weeds out and turning the soil in preparation and everyday a Robin has been keeping me company. He usually sits on the fence watching me dig up the worms then when I take a step back he hops in a eats a couple. I actually found him very good company ???
However, the last four days I've been up there he was nowhere to be seen, I thought Robins were quite territorial and had assumed that I was on 'his patch' so to speak. But now he's gone I'm not so sure. Do Robins wonder much and is he likely to be back?
Might seem silly but I kinda miss him (even if he was eating my worms)
I hope he returns!!
We have had a pair of Robins eat loads of worms today at the allotment . Was lovely to watch.

They are wonderful to watch, and, as I recently found out, England's national bird. My fav! ;D
