Title: kitchen bag sealers
Post by: busy_lizzie on February 15, 2012, 18:36:29
I got a cheapo kitchen bag sealer from QVC but it is very flimsy and doesnt do the job very well so I have been looking at other more expensive makes. I have looked at Lakeland but their brand is over £50.  Amazon have a Make of bag sealer from Andrew James at £39ish. Has anyone had any experience using bag sealers? These are electric and also have a vacumn pack attached to them. I believe the bags are fairly expensive, though you can wash and use them again. Many thanks if you can pass on any advice. busy_lizzie

We bought one ages ago, we used to buy a salmon, cut it up and bag and freeze. Unfortunately, sometimes the seal wasn't too good and we got freezer burn on some. Ours has a vacuum on it but Ray says it's too fiddly  :-\
