leave on a window sill till germination or warm airing cupboard as i dont have a greenhouse
I'd start them in the airing cupboard... but check regularly and get them out as soon as they start showing. :)
I have mine on a well exposed windowsill but they are in a plastic bag too to trap in the warmth and moisture. Mine are just peppers but same principle. Also stops the cat from eating them.
I bought a cheap heated propagator and my chilis pop up quicker and in better numbers. I'd go airing cupbaord as long as it isnt too hot..
All our chillies get the same start,each small batch of chillies goes in the airing cupboard tween some wet tissue paper and popped into a foil food tray with cling film over it,but depending on the variety some will sprout afore others,I seem to recall our bonnets sprouted about the same time as our cayennes.....any road once sprouted I stick them in a heated prop on a constant temp to help em grow on...I think there worst enemy is us as we like to interfere to often and the temp fluctuates and the sprouting process is stunted.
Good post this as im always looking to improve chilli growth methods.
