It's my twentieth wedding anniversary this year and traditionally it's china.
Hmmmm, I'm a bit stumped as to what china gift I can give to my husband!
Perhaps a holiday in China - that works for me! ;D ;D Just kidding of course.
The cogs of my imagination are well and truly stuck with this one, does anybody have any ideas, please?
Get one of those slinky chinese outfits with the split right up the side and make his day ;)
if he's into gardening or just likes plants
china rose? rosa chinensis
I,m with ace all us men know what we really want ::) :P, But a card and a nice cup of tea would be nice too. ;D Congratulations on 20 years ;)
That's lovely :)
Chinese lanterns set off after a lovely Chinese stir fry meal, nice wine etc ;D
It's our 40th this year
For our 20th I got my little westie ::). Oh it was such hard work getting OH to agree but so worth while ;D. It's eldest daughters 20th this year & born around the same time as you Sam. You are thinking well ahead.
Any suggestions for a 45th ;D?
Thanks for the replies so far. I'm laughing at Ace's suggestion. Ace I fear I'd look more Daffyd from Little Britain and less Lucy Liu :-X ;D
I really like the idea of the rose and the lanterns and congratulations to you, Manic :)
GJ, it's not for a few months yet but I do like to prepare, lol ;D
My stepdaughter and family went to China last April on holiday. They are still talking about! It was totally fab!!
Dinner out at a Chinese restaurant. Does he garden? Lot's of plants come from china.
It's my 12th (2nd time round) and now I share it with the anniversary of the total destruction of my home city. Including, incidentally the Church I was married in first time round! I completely forgot my anniversary last year because of the shock I guess.
I found this

I never was one for presents-a nice bottle of wine and a few words---"20 years and it`s hard to believe because I adored you from day one and every year I love you more"
You could get the grandkids (if you have any) to decorate a set of china with there hand prints etc?
Or get a mug with some wedding photos on?
Nice Hotel for the weekend..........we often used to do this though money not quite so free flowing as it was :(
We loved going to York.......but this year we are going to try and go to Paris.
