Title: Met Trickly Challenged
Post by: Ophi on February 01, 2012, 07:30:05
 :o I've done it again.

After measuring up for the architrave and skirting for a friends room the other year we went to wood shop and gave our lovely list to the man on the counter.  He looked as if he was going to choke, rushed round the back, a gale of laughter ensued, he popped back round and said "you fixing your dolls ouse?"

So I decided to be extremely careful when ordering our enviromesh.  I have exactly the amount I need.  Then I saw some heavy duty tri pegs and could not be bothered to cause myself more stress by converting the measurements.  Judging by the pegs I have seen in the shops I thought I would invest in a big pack.  They are very heavy duty, you should see the size of the box they arrived in  :D

Why oh why didn't they just take our feet and inches away all those years ago - surely I would have had to get the hang of it by now!

;) best to laugh and face the storage challenge with fortitude.  I think metric should be logical but can not work out the logic.  Oh well I will stick to the illogical imperial at least I know what the words look like.
