Do you really mean that you wrote that article yourself. We are asked not to be rude to each other but do we need to be almost in an operating mode to sow a few seeds. I give on average 2 talks a week and always say this is what I do and the results I get, I find it difficult to believe that tomato seedlings cannot be pricked out very soon after they have germinated so as to avoid root damage. I expect this will be taken out by admin although I do mean it to be constructive.

I have sowed a lot of seeds in my time and I never did tie my hair back or sterilized my hands.

Perhaps it would be a good dea to have a hairdo and a manicure first befor gardening

Primrose seeds are covered with an inhibitor and I remember watching someone on TV grinding them into a sweaty palm with a view to removing it.

Nothing wrong with being told good practise! Us "experts" can go and do what we've always done.

Ace - a pony tail would sure suit you ;D ;D ;D

I have to try and get my nails clean after gardening before I go to work- not always easy- that's when it becomes my turn to wash the breakfast pots!!
