Just spent the evening at Lichfield Cathedral watching Any Questions.
Did you know this programme has been going for over 60 years?
Hope you enjoyed it Betula ;D.
I did thankyou. It was intresting to see David Blunkett and his lovely dog.
Also Daniel Finkelstein the executive editor of The Times.
I certainly remember it from my childhood. Freddy Grisewood was the chairman then.
We just listened to the Litchfield broadcast. How clumsy and obtrusive Jonathan Dimbleby is. I wonder why they bother with panellists. They could just have Dimbleby being pompous and dogmatic for 50 minutes.
He can be a bit that way.David Jacobs was my fave.
During the warm up they were saying it has a new production team based in Bristol. They asked did people want the humorous questions stopped and what would they feel about a panel that did not include a politician?
Hope they don't change the format.
