Title: kitchen garlic sprouting - can I grow it??

Kitchen garlic is sprouting & i was wondering if it would grow if I put it in ground

We have, in the past. Worst you get is garlic that's like garlic chives  :)

Have a go. There's still time for it to get chilled, which is needed for the bulbs to clove. The bigger cloves may well produce decent bulbs; plant the smaller ones closer together and use them for green garlic.
