Title: Fireworks
Post by: star on January 11, 2012, 00:03:57
Hello again everyone.

I recieved a lovely PM from someone here.......you know who you are.....which has prompted me to post something. Nothing too important,  it was a gift from above.

All these expensive rockets that went up last bonfire night had to come down somewhere. I gathered up as many as I could find. The sticks are sturdy and are great for plant supports.

I guess loads of you have done the same :D

Hiya, Star..lovely to hear from you  ;D
All the 'lads' from our allotments walked around the field surrounding the club collecting these sticks, make great supports for our sweet peas in  buckits  ;D

;D So, its not just me who's been collecting them. I've been admiring my new support sticks for my pot plants and been very please about them. There hasn't been as many about as usual. The stick fairy must been feeling the credit crunch too.

Yes me to they are just the job.
I also pick up the rings from downed sky lanterns in the park which you can tie to canes to make great perennial trainers.  :)
