Title: Seed box decluttering!
Post by: tricia on January 05, 2012, 16:44:35
I am just not able, healthwise, to do as much in my veggie garden as I used to, so I'm clearing lots of my seeds out. Anyone who is interested please PM me - an SAE is all I require. There are too many varieties of some veggies to list but just ask. Most of the packets are not in date but worth a try and some are from seed swaps (many from Jeannine) and are not dated. Anyway here goes:

Tomatoes - 17 varieties
Leeks - Ardea organic
Sweetcorn - Sundance and Peaches and Cream
Courgette - Kojac, Orelia and Jemmer both yellow
Carrots - 5 varieties
French beans - 4 varieties
Gigandes 5 beans from a seed swap in 2007!!
Cauliflower - Snowball
Aubergine - Viserba and Listada de Gandia
Cucumbers - Biet Alpha, Sweetcrunch and Konsa
Lettuce and mixed leaves - 6 varieties
Squash - 16 varieties
Peppers 4 varieties

My planting this year will be leeks, celeriac, sweetcorn, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, one chilli (not decided which yet!), courgettes and squashes. In April I shall buy a carton of living lettuce from Lidl and plant it out where the leeks will eventually go and that's it.

Hi Tricia, so sorry you can't do as much gardening, hope it's "just" old age (joking!!) and nothing serious!
I would love some of your seeds. We have a Victorian walled kitchen garden (see  ashfurlongwalledkitchengarden.blogspot.com or Ashfurlong Walled Kitchen Garden on FB) that we are trying to renovate. We've cleared one of the 'quarters' of about 25yds x 25yds (can't be doing with metres!!) and I was hoping to go mad and fill it this year.  Is there anything that you would like in exchange, not necessarily seed-related.  I read an awful lot, so hae got loads of books e.g. MC Beaton's Agatha Raisin, Tami Hoag, P. Robinson, M. Connelly.
Anyway, let me know one way or another.

  Best wishes,

  Rosemary

Hi Rosemary Did you receive the borlotti beans I sent you last Summer? Did you send me anything in return. I did send you my address?
