My allotment neighbour lost his wedding ring on his plot... only to dig it up over a year later....

Found the hand fork I lost three years ago in September! Took it down the allotment to replace the one I'd lost earlier this year, found that in November......

I think this says something about me  :-[

Composter mostly contains kitchen scraps and invertibrates. 4 years and counting since last dig out!

Seen that mi self in todays paper, I hoping to find my Bill Hook in my compost, :)

I recovered a sabbatier paring knife from the compost... it got there by the usual method... out with the peelings... I use it on the lottie now but the handle suffered and is bound up to keep it together..  :)

Great story. Lost mine 5 years ago but won't get it back as it was stolen in a burglary. A nicer new one is on it's way though :)
