I'm going to Chesterfield's potato day myself..can't wait.
I noticed that in that page Chesterfield advert mention about seed swap???..but its not mentioned in their 'own' pages. Does swap take place or not..?...should I get prepared for it.. ;D ;D..not that I need anything.. :-X ::) ;D

I've gone to the Witchurch (http://www.potatoday.org/) potato day for several years now and I'll be there again this year.  The bulk of the tubers are from Charlton Park (http://www.charlton-park.co.uk/potatoes.html) in Wantage who also have their own day, and if you can't get to either Richard is always at the Newbury (Thursday and Saturday) and Hungerford (Wednesday) markets with a very big range and I've found him to be extremely knowlegable and helpful.

Hi Goodlife,
I'm not connected to Potato Day - only posted the link for information of all.
To me, Potato Day marks the beginning of the new growing season  :D.

I've e-mailed the guy who organises Chesterfield potato day to ask about the seed swop.
