I've tried both high and low temperature roasting for turkey, and for me low temperature wins in every way except time taken.

But high temperature to me is 200C, not 250  :o  In fact I'm not sure our oven would cope with 250C!  I can only imagine that a bird cooked like that would be exceedingly tough.

'Fraid I wouldn't want to risk it, certainly not for Christmas lunch.  190c in a fan oven is as high as I go.  Have you tried it PL?
