Been gagging to try this again so last night I made some, unfortunately judes not a chilli fan so hers were just with the cheese in.
Ingredients
1lb of minced beef
1 egg beaten
1 tsp Tommy sauce
1 tsp French or English depends on your tastebuds.
1/2 an onion finally diced
Ground salt and pepper.

my fav cream cheese,or another of your choosing.

I like these as they are tangy and sweet,mine off the plot are just too bluddy fiery.

1/2 a tsp of each gives the chips a real kick.

Mix mince and other ingredients with fingers.

Divide into 4 meat patties.

Butterfly patties and spread cream cheese and chopped Jalapenos into middle then put tops back on and seal edges.
Fridge burgers for 20 mins.

meanwhile back at the ranch,cut tatters into chunky chips and par boil for 5 mins,let them cool and then put in plastic bag with spices and shake .

put fan oven on 200 for 30 mins,then cook chips on top shelf...cover with spray olive oil.
after 15 mins ,shallow fry Burgers till browned each side(word of warning too much onion will lead to patties breaking up in pan so go careful).

I just wanted to thank you for the excellent way you illustrate your recipes.
(The chips look lovely but as I'm vegetarian I won't be making the burger!)
Yes,being a Diabetic I do have 2 shed loads of "veg only recipes" that should get a more than fair airing Squash64
but the Ol carnivore rears its head and I end up walking down the meat aisle when in truth our seasons plot products should entertain my fun cooking exploits.
