As we have just received our 3 x 2 poly tunnel and my neighbour is going to put it up for us this weekend Jude asked whether any of you folks have brought any good books on the subject, yes,we could Google the hell out of the Question but we were hoping somebody here might recommend summit for me mum to buy us for Crimbo...you know the type where its full of piccies and idiot guides to planting.
Cheers

Sorry, have not read these myself, but you could look up Amazon reviews of the Grow Food one and see what you think.
I have been following his earlier blogs, eg http://hedgewizardsdiary.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html and the book appears to be written from personal experience, not just another compendium of received ideas.
The first one, the Pollytunnel Handbook, is only about building one.
If you look on you-tube or one of the polytunnel manufacturers web site they have a DVD on how to erect a polytunnel
Thats a crackin litttle book Artichoke, looks the sort of things we can use.
The link to the fellers blog is fun to read also, ive only been on it 2 mins and have found a scrumptious
looking Dorset crumble cake....me being the Kitchen tart of the household.... ;)looks like there is plenty of seasonal knowledge crammed on his blog.....superb .!!!!
and NO,as I mentioned while im recovering from a stomache op me neighbour is doing the tunnel erecting this weekend for us,its the internal labour of luv we want the help with !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
