Title: SCAM LETTERS
Post by: lottie lou on November 21, 2011, 21:02:30
Just received a scam letter today purportedly from a Business Relations Manager of a large bank in Hong Kong.  He claims that someone with the same surname as Mr LL has died in China after depositing a very large sum of money in his bank and he would like to go 50/50 with us.  Apparently the banking corporation does exist.  Is there any authority I should alert to this letter?

So he's paid for two stamps then.  Wonder how much he is going to "invest".

I had one of these letters a couple of months ago from South Africa. The relative who apparently "died" in a car crash was actually sitting next to me when I opened the letter!
