Post by: rugbypost on November 16, 2011, 21:08:07
Not a great captain or coach of England, But a Great a proud man who has had to resign the same way as Graham Henrey left Wales the misstakes of others and I do not mean the players. You have to start at the top English rugby is very cash rich  with a very strong structure or we all  (The rest of the world thought) When a man like Ashton is sacked after what he did for rugby over all in England is mind blowing. Proud Welshman me but it does not make a differance to me IF england are playing France Australia Newzealand i dont want them to win come on England, Because if  your team does not fight where does that leave the rest of us. This is only me thinking there is to many forign players in your teams this is because of your league structure its not for me to try and allter it. But things need changing When a great man and that is what he is has to go on TV and resign that should tell us all stay at home don,t put bums on seats untill them at the top listen to you the public who make English great you the supporter. Well had my rant Happy birthday to anyone today Rugbypost >:(

Will Carling had it on the nose.
Too many old farts.  They all saw the headlines and dropped a load.

Surprising how Rob Andrew can quickly mimic Bart Simpson with "I didn't do it".

For some reason Martin did not experiment much.  He relied on too many old players (over 25 that is).
he needed to take a tip from Wales.
Anyway it is only a game.

I don't have much time for Rob Andrew - even as a player he was a bit squeaky.
To be honest I always thought it was daft putting MJ in charge of England when they did.  Surely it would have been better to tell him to go away for a few years and get some experience in the domestic clubs - then he may have been better equipped to have taken up the England job.
I prefer club rugby these days..
