Title: metcheck
Post by: tomatoada on November 15, 2011, 18:18:05
When I log onto the metcheck weather site I get the following weeks weather.   This happened sometime ago but then after  few days rectified itself.  Now it has been like for 2-3 weeks.  Any reason for it?  The date on the bottom corner of my computer is correct.

Thanks for reply.  Not me then or computer.  Can you recommend a weather site?

I like weatherspark - http://weatherspark.com
It's a bit busy for some people but appeals to the geek in me!

SOmeone has cocked up on metcheck - errors all over ...

I use the Met Offices own site these days - following a recommendation on here. Nice postcode forecast, plus nice surface pressure charts if you want to understand what's going on.

Thanks for asking the question ada and thanks for the links to other postcode sites. Will browse this arvers & hope to find a Metcheck replacement. Oh! farewell Metcheck, you served me so well, giving damned-near spot-on local forecasts during the day. I miss you :'(

Right, I've set the Metcheck one and also Merv's recommendation and will run them both for a week. First day, tho, for what I want, Merv's site is winning hands down :)
