Great amarylis e.j.I have one in the garden and he is showing himself above the earth,a little bit early isnot it?

I believe these are different to the hardy amarylis Ruud.  That pretty double is called lady jane and I have 2.

This one, yet another chrimble gift, is just begining to do it's stuff.  And as you can see, my kaffir lily has a fat orange flower bud showing colour.  In fact, on close examination, there are 4 buds like this so it is going to look fab in about 10 days time!  ;D

Hi e.j. that amarylis in my garden is a hardy one and indeed a different one than yours.That kafferlily is the flower of ouwer family.My mother has one who is more than 50 years old and everyone in the family has a off-spring of that 50 year old one,so it became the flower of ouwer family.
