Poor Betty has lost two of he beloved Allotment cats recently and I think she deserves a thread all to herself .
In praise of Betty and her enduring love and care of these animals.
I think you are fantastic Betty........anybody else care to add a line?? :)
What a lucky cats they are having Betty around... ;)
I was sharing with Mrs U. just the other day what you've done for those cats at Walsall Road Betty, and like Den, I'm so grateful. Thank you.

Well done Betty, your kindness will be rewarded.
You really are a very caring lady, Betty and I am sure you have brought a lot of care and affection into the lives of the allotment cats.
She's simply the best, better than all the rest. :-* :D ;)
Better than anyone, ....anyone I've ever met :-*
I second what everyone else has said here! :)
Thank you so much Betula and everyone - this made me cry. :'(
After we found Keith yesterday I started thinking that I was stupid to get so attached to these cats and it would save me a lot of heartache if I tried not to like them so much. But then my brain took over and made me see that this was a selfish way of looking at things. The cats deserve the best possible care I can give them and if this means I get upset if anything bad happens to them - then I will just have to cope with it.
Kev and Pansy - I keep having this image of me dressed as Tina Turner now. If you had ever seen me you would realize how bizarre and scary this is! :o
Thanks again everyone, you are a great bunch of friends. :)
If only there were more like you Betty...
What a woman, we love what you do Betty :-* :-* :-*.
I'm sure all the cats would write their appreciation tooo if they could, so may I say something for them - Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!!!
She makes brilliant scarecrows too! Wonderwoman!
I second what everyone has said Betty, your love of the cats is lovely, and I know you will continue to care for them. they are lucky cats to have you.

and, if they didn't have you, where would they be?
I was brought up with dogs but became a cat owner when I met my hubby. We had a brilliant cat for 14 years till sadly she got killed, and now we have another different but equally wonderful young cat who lights up our life. I love just watching cats, their behaviour is so funny and fascinating, and I love their unique personalities. When you own a cat, despite some drawbacks like the sharp claws (!) they reward you with a lot of love and affection. Ours is another member of the family.
I know how much you love those cats Betty! Well done for looking after them so well! Our biggest curse as a human is to have to outlive the pets that bring us so much joy...
my old cat is twenty and a half she is a Birman named Gracie , I often wonder about how much longer she will be with us , I know I will be heart broken when anything happens to her .so I can feel for you Betty.
June.
You do a great job Betty and gave the cats a much better life than they would have had.
And you do not do a bad job with the humans too :D :D :D
