Hi Everyone, What a day i had, waking up to the sounds from my 3year old Granddaughter saying Happy Anniversary (25 years ) nanny and granddad, brings a tear to your eyes :'( :'(, and them having time with her in the greenhouse sowing seeds (bless) she was good as gold, helping to pass and filling up the pots with compost, and asking what seeds are going in to them, why do they need water, how long will they take to grow, i do love being a granddad, let the good time roll, had to share this with you all
catch you all later

Congratulations on 25 years Windygale and Mrs Windygale :)
Bless, what a lovely day spent with your grandaughter :)
Congratulations from me too Mr. & Mrs. Windygale on your 'special' anniversay yesterday - and what a lovely way to spend it - hope your little grand-daughter continues to want to 'help' grandad in the greenhouse & garden. I loved helping my Grandad when I was little (millions of years ago) and found his shed one of the most exciting places to be.....
I'm hoping that this year, I shall sometimes be able to take my 7 year old grandson to my lottie as he seems quite interested in 'how things grow' and loves to help his Daddy (my youngest son) when he's in the garden. He and his younger sister do grow sunflowers & strawberries in their flower borders.
Hi Everybody, Mrs windy says thanks for all the kind remarks & thanks for your replys, YES i was very happy to have my grand-daughter helping me in my greenhouse, she take's it all in what's said to her and asks loads of questions like how & why do you do things, even when we walk around the garden she says look grand-dad theres a new thing popping out the groung what is it, i love every second i have with her
thanks again

Well done, WGs - enjoy every moment!
Our great good fortune was when No. 4 (younger daughter) moved in next door 9 years ago & produced 3 boys! No, not out of a hat!
It's been like watching plants grow week by week - they work in London. We feel very privileged & suffer withdrawal symptoms when they miss a week. = Tim
CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. & Mrs. WG ;D
Know what you mean about having the grandchild helping you - brings back memories of when my grandson used to do just that. Make the most of her, they grow up all too quickly - mine is now 17 years old :) :)
