sorry to bore but my grandson almost 16 took his football referee exam tonight and passed !!!!
We are so proud of him,we were before, he's wonderful but this is just "icing on the cake"
aren't grandchildren wonderful :) :) :)
Aww congrats to you and him.
I never realised a boy as young as that would be interested in being a referee :)
Lot's of them do it,he's been travelling to Taunton (we live in wsm) twice a week after school for the training and then this evening for the exam.
There is so much negative press about teenagers these days but Dec and his friends seem to be doing so much "stuff" he had a trial for county cricket as well ,his mates are all involved in sport which seems to be such a positive in teenage life.
well I'm one very proud Nan and I want to shout about it
apologies to follow :-[
Isn't that great to hear. I'm also amazed a 16 can be a referee. Congratulations to him for passing and Macmac feel free to crow!
That's fantastic, well done your Grandson!
Lovely for you .I agree with you .Its so nice to hear something positive about a young person
Many congratulations to your Grandson. I know the feeling, my Grandson (next door) worried me as he was so confident he would get the results he wanted for his GCSE's, I needn't have worried :). And I agree there are so many lovely young people around.
Well done :)
Congratulations to him. I agree there are far more decent youngsters out there than we are led to believe by the media.
Well done, him ;D
Our 12 year old grandson and neice both make me tired telling me all the after school activities they're involved in, it's a shame the media only report about the few troublemakers instead of applauding our youngsters
