Title: Can I move purple sprouting brocolli
Post by: Digeroo on October 18, 2011, 22:44:58
A friend has asked me for some PSB plants.  I rather think it is several months late  -all my plants are quite a size.  I do not want to say no, but I am not convinced they would survive.  What do you think?

I can't imagine they'd engjoy itas brassicas don't appreciate root disturbance at all as they come up to size, but on the other hand exactly how does a broccolli bolt?

My couve tronchuda has been attempting to bolt, but I think that's the weather. I've transplanted well grown broccoli; the plants didn't like it but they did produce a reduced crop.

Thanks for the replies, a reduced crop does not matter, I have plenty of plants.  If they bolt I suppose that means they will flower which is what we have in mind.
