Title: Rabbit Manure
Post by: petemason on February 08, 2005, 17:25:45
A lady at the school gates has offered me as much rabbit manure as I want. Is it worth putting in the ground now or shall I stick it on the compost. I haven't manured anything yet I'm afraid for various reasons.

Hi Pete, i think the best way for you to go is to place it on your compost heap and turn it in ,if you can get loads, take it, allow it to brake down over three years (to kill off grass seeds) and add as much organic refuse to your compost - from your home as poss the heap should heat up (the hotter the better) and should go crumbly them it right to use,
hope this helps
catch you later
