I've spoken to Greenfingers who are delighted that we have chosen them as our charity this year and agree that a Just Giving page is the best way to donate to them.
I've set this up and members can now donate to this worthy cause here -
https://www.justgiving.com/Mike-Rogers0
If you have any concerns or questions then please either comment here or PM me.
As previously please donate what you want, and can afford. My own starting donation was to make sure it all worked and I will be making another just before I close the page early next year.
Done, Mike. Thanks for setting it up.
Good job Flighty - on my way to make a small doantion now

I'm going to donate when I get paid next Monday and then again when I get paid at the end of November. Shall I put up some pictures of gardens they've created? Also, I found out today that I can donate directly to the Sally Army in the town where I live which I'm very happy about. So instead of it going into a national 'donations bank' it will get used in this town, I feel that's better. Dropped off three sacks of clothes and shoes to them today! :) (is it ok to mention it in this thread? If not, just tell me and I'll edit ...)
"pictures they created" Yes please Sam.
SamLouise yes please pictures would be good, and thanks for offering to do that.
I think that it's okay to mention the Sally Army as you have! :)
Reading this thread makes me feel like I am having a great big cuddle :)
I'm available PP. ;)

Thanks also to Daveyboi, Betula, Grannyjanny, Hector, Ninnycrops and Pumpkinlover for their generosity.
It's been heartwarming to see the response to this and I'm proud to have been part of it.
I spoke to Sarah at Greenfingers this morning and she's going to send me a letter thanking all of us. When I receive it I'll make sure that you all see what it says.

Thank You Mike for running this.
Thanks to all the other members of A4A for their generosity.

Do not feel guilty !!
I was not expecting us to raise so much this year with the current financial squeeze and personally would not want anyone to stretch their finances too far by giving something they could not afford.
