Brill. I love Tromba d'ALbenga. Lovely cooked as well good flavour. Seeds all up one end so very little waste.
ive got one of them, but mine isnt that big, and now its even smaller because ive just had some for my dinner and it was very nice.

We were eating them as courgettes until I read a post from you a while ago saying to let them grow on - and this is what we got. I think it's still a bit unripe - next year we'll let more of them grow on.

Hi OllieC, Is it Italian? My friend Joe grew these. To get it to grow extra long he ( and dont ask me why) put a bucket of water under it so it would grow down to the water? He gave me one to cook and I made a Rattitui . I have not spelt it correctly but you know what I mean. I managed to save 2 seeds from it so I'm going to try and grow them next year.
