Amazing what a difference being about 600 miles south of London - we picked and froze all of ours a month ago!  But we did eat some today - soooooo good. Once defrosted, I cook it on full power in microwave for about 3 + 3 minutes, (if there are several at the same time) with a spoonful of water.

I don't defrost them and don't need any water - they are lovely in about 5 minutes for one cob at full (850) power. Mine, too, were harvested over a month ago and most of them frozen within minutes of picking.
