Usually I moan when my plot plans are ruined by rain - but by the sun in October ???

I'm not complaining (well only a little) I have been planning to use the first week in October as my digging week for ages, but not in full sunshine and 29 degree heat.

Its deckchair weather and I picked up one on Freecycle last weekend ;D

What plans does everyone else have for this last blast of summer?

I might do some of the more straining work early in the morning..but once the sun is out and heat on...its going to be bucket of ice cream and book for me.. ;)..indoors..
I've just come back from lottie..we had barbeque..while we were sitting out there..it felt like being in Teneriffe or somewhere like that...the evening air felt like birds milk..so warm and so soft... ;D

I'm loving it! I normally hate hot weather but this is so nice and it does go a bit cooler at night so you can sleep.

Got lots to do on plot and my garden, but then the old Motorbike might get a thrash if Mr PKL agrees :D

We dug up all the spuds that were left in today, but I don't dig as such any more :o

We were painting the house before the heat started so going to Ikea instead :) and then BBQ sunday

may just sit on the lottie for a change and enjoyI wish I could..I always end up wondering away doing something and without realising the time...I always manage to spend hours wondering from job to another.. ::)
Sitting down in the evening in the light of the woodfire works..I cant see too much.. ;D

Up on the roof on Saturday working out how to modify the chimney for a log-burner, then it was nice to have decent weather for the spud harvest.... but I was sweatnig a bit.... drank a litre of water adn didn't need a pee.....
