Not even the right family, no cocnut or goldfish for you
Pulmanaria (lungwort) ?
Sorry, not that. A clue is that it is well out of season and another that the flowers are only ever 1 cm across.
ARRRGGGHHHH!! My head's going to explode! So tell us please |Eric - what is it!!??
Eric
Trillium???
Ok. Emma Jane was in the correct family, It is Nolana lutea. Book says Winter annual, but this is the first time I have seen it flowering in February, usually in Summer. Took me ages to find out what it is. Eventually saw it in Powys Castle gardens with a label. Then found it in Phillips and Rix book.
Oddest thing is though, we have never knowingly sown the seeds, so no idea how it got here. And it has moved round the garden, again without help from us. Rather ugly leaves too.
