My daughters are loving the great taste of fresh sweet corn, once I have managed to remove the earwigs without them seeing.

Why are there so many earwigs in sweetcorn, I have about 4 or 5 in everyone.   ???    :-\

Looking back to last year it was October before I picked any of my Sweetcorn, after checking my plants at the weekend the corn is a nice size but just waiting for it to turn to a nice golden yellow, :)

Mine's a bit late too also it has been fairly flattened by the wind - it is only the butternut squashes planted with them that keeps them upright (sort of!). Been a great year for tomatoes though coming to fruit now  :P yum!!

Ours just went to pot, not a single cob worth picking this year, all went dry and flakey and then kind of mouldy.
