Is anyone elses freezer filled to bursting. We have one downstairs and another upstairs and both are full. If I want to put something in then to make room for it, I have to base the days meals aroung what I can take out of the freezer. We have given lots of stuff away but even then there is so much left.
We are going to have to make a determined effort not to grow so much next year.
My kitchen is so small I cannot get a freezer in so there is a big chest freezer in a spare bedroom.
Still HAD to make wine yesterday to clear a bit of room out for next lot of produce ;)
Having to bottle fruit as no room in freezer :D
We have 3 uprights and all are full to bursting, we deliberately bought one last year to keep the fruit juice in, just as well with the amount of apples we got this year ;D
still, we have lots of people we can supply through the winter and have 2 shelves of preserves already :)
oh, they're all in the garage
Ive seriously got to buy another freezer for next year as I end up giving so much away or having to eat mountains of certain things as they come ready ::) Mind you eating loads of one thing when its in season does seem to mean that I dont miss it at all until the next time its in season, lol

We have two uprights in the shed... and a fridge freezer in the kitchen...
trying to psyche myself into bagging up all the things frozen in marge tubs to create some space... :-X
We've got one 3/4 size chest freezer in the conservatory,we used to have a small upright in the kitchen as well.Over the years we've tried to eat as we grow giving loads away.We freeze lot's of soft fruit 2/3 carrier bags, sweetcorn, peas and a token couple of bags of french beans.
Result is we do have buy a little veg in the winter but we've also got the most wonderful relationship with friends and neighbours :)
