Title: Do I dig up all my potatoes now?

the tops have wilted.. they are still in the ground.. number of different varieties including (ahem) new potatoies which we haven'y got around to digging up and eating...

We dug up the last of ours yesterday and I have to say they had suffered with the slugs.
I'd pick a nice dry day and get them up.

I agree with macmac.

Mine are still in the ground. Two rows lifted and four to go. This week-end will be a busy one especially as rain is forecast for Sunday.

Up they come!!!  ;)

Some varities are more prone than others to slug damage.  I have found Red Duke of York to be a particular favourite.

Conversely here my Red Dukes are virtually slug proof....  :-X
