Youngest daughter took the recycling out early yesterday & she could see her breath in the air. Very Autumnal ;D. I must admit I am an Autumn/Winter person.

Pinch and a punch for the first of the month - and no returns!

;D I'm a spring and summer person, I hate the long dark cold days of winter. But hey the sun is shining and it is a most beautiful day today.

Lol, yes piles of scrunchy leaves, fantastic fun and then recycled for leaf mold!

I always used to fall for pinch and a punch  ::)

There are mods for SMF forums such as this but I am a goon at all things programmy so have no idea about compatibility etc..
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=977

It would be nice to post vids in line but it opens up a whole line for spammers, ads and "questionable material" being posted  I guess...

It felt positively Autumnal on my bike at 7:30 today - crisp and bright.

Add me to the list of winter dislikers!

On the plus side, it's been beautiful here (South East) today and set to be 25 tomorrow and the same on Saturday :)

Anyone else use Met Office site (BBC derives from there, I think) - drives me bonkers as you make plans using their forecast and then it just keeps on changing - rain's supposedly dropped out of Sunday now but not holding my breath....

My tomatoes might now actually go red.

problem is the skins are now so tough they can be used as replacement Brake Pad liners on a Foden 15 tonner.

Our weeks forecast is for 27 degrees and no rain for 14 days so hopefully things will continue to ripen.

It was dark here at 8.45 pm last night

Surely September will be better than June, July and august.  Sick of the heavy cloud base, rain and more clouds.  I want to see some sun before the winter storms get going.

Sunshine would be welcomed but I'll skip the winter storms  ;)

One day was! Last couple of weeks have been quite dry here BUT a little sunshine and warmth to go with it would be bliss  :)
