Title: Railcards from tesco clubcard points
Post by: caroline7758 on August 29, 2011, 16:41:26
I know that Tesco are not loved by everyone on here, but thought some of you might like to know that you can now exchange clubcard rewards vouchers for railcards. I have just ordered a young person's card for my daughter for £14 of vouchers- full price would be £28. http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=2021 (http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=2021)

You can also get family and senior railcards.

On the downside, has anyone noticed that more and more of the rewards offers only give 2x value now rather than 3 (or the original 4)?

I'm converting clubcard points to redspottedhanky train vouchers - you get 3 times face value -very useful as I'm travelling every couple of weeks to London to see new grandson! The available trains are a bit restricted but it's been a godsend for me.
